Punjab Police: Amritsar: महिला पुलिस थाना की कमान एसीपी की बजाय अब एडीसीपी के हाथों..

दो जिलों के एकमात्र महिला पुलिस थाना की कमान एसीपी की बजाय अब एडीसीपी के हाथों में सौंप दी गई है। पुलिस कमिश्नर आरपी मित्तल ने एक आदेश जारी करके एडीसीपी हेड क्वार्टर हरिंदरजीत सिंह को महिला पुलिस थाने की कमान सौंप दी है। पंजाब सरकार के आदेश पर अमृतसर सिटी और अमृतसर देहाती पुलिस का महिला पुलिस थाना लाहौरी गेट स्थित थाना डी डिवीजन की इमारत में खोला गया है। एसीपी सेंट्रल के हाथों में इस थाने की कमान थी। वह सप्ताह में एक बार थाने का दौरा कर पुलिस कारगुजारी की समीक्षा करते थे। पुलिस कमिश्नर आरपी मित्तल ने एक आदेश जारी कर एडीसीपी हेड क्वार्टर हरिंदरजीत सिंह को महिला पुलिस थाने की निगरानी सौंपी है। पुलिस कमिश्नर का आदेश पाते ही एडीसीपी हेड क्वार्टर ने महिला पुलिस थाने के स्टाफ के साथ बैठक की। शुक्रवार की शाम हुई बैठक में थाना की एसएचओ कंवलदीप कौर के अलावा 13 पुलिसकर्मी शामिल हुए। एडीसीपी हेड क्वार्टर ने आदेश दिया कि पुलिस कमिश्नर द्वारा थाने में भेजे जाने वाले सभी मामलों की गहन जांच की जाए। यह प्रयास किया जाए कि शिकायतकर्ता और दूसरे पक्ष को समझा कर मामले का निपटारा किया जाए। आरोपियों को अपनी सफाई देने का मौका दिया जाए। आरोपियों को बुलाने के लिए कम से कम तीन बार नोटिस भेजा जाए। मामले में अगर कोई आरोपी पाया जाता है, तभी दहेज प्रताड़ना का केस दर्ज किया जाए। किसी भी केस में महिला आरोपी की गिरफ्तारी के समय महिला पुलिसकर्मी मौजूद हो। इस दौरान महिला पुलिस थाने के स्टाफ ने शिकायत की है कि उनके पास पहले से ही स्टाफ कम है। एडीसीपी ने थाना के एसएचओ को कहा कि पुलिस कमिश्नर के आदेश के बिना थाने के स्टाफ को किसी भी ड्यूटी पर न भेजा जाए।

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Moving with the times, Kerala police are getting ready to use social networking sites for a social cause- to trace the missing persons. Already, Kerala police have held discussions with Facebook service providers for the customisation of the account to suit the purpose. The account is expected to go live from next month. The unique suggestion came at a meeting of senior police officers with the Chief Minister last month. After Facebook, other social networking sites such as Twitter will also be enlisted. The figure of missing persons in the state is as high as 3,500� in a year and among them around 350 are yet to be traced. Kerala is one of the states with the highest number of missing persons reported on an annual basis. Only a few states like Delhi come ahead� of the state. “In the FB account,� there would be details and photos of� the missing persons which would be opened to all FB users of the country. But if any information is received,� it� would be shown only to the police. Since it is a wide network,� it would be of great help to trace the missing persons,” sources said. The police have already held talks with the FB service providers. The computer wing of the state Crime Records Bureau is looking into the technical aspect. An FB account is a testing platform. If it works successfully, such accounts would be opened on other social networking sites like Twitter. “Seventy per cent of the Facebook users come under the age group of 14 to 26. They are a very eager and enthusiastic group. We hope that their response would match our expectation which would help us to create some links about the missing persons,” Manoj Abraham, IG Police Headquarters, told Express. According to him, the attempt is the first of its kind in the country. The name of the FB account has not been decided yet. The police are looking for a catchy name which should not create any aversion to� the FB users to become ‘followers’ of it. Extra care would be taken to avoid hacking of the account and SCRB would be in the monitoring role, said a police official.

A Delhi court has expressed anguish over the "non-professional and casual" manner of the city police in chargesheeting a man, allegedly involved in gangrape-cum-murder of a minor girl, for a milder offence of attempt to rape. "The chargesheet has been filed in a most non-professional and casual manner by invoking lesser offences. I am anguished to note that till date the investigating agency has not even bothered to further probe the aspect of cause of death of the girl," said Additional Sessions Judge (ASJ) Kamini Lau. The judge was upset that despite medical records suggesting that the 15-year-old girl was raped, the police chargesheeted the accused only for the offence of attempt to rape and causing grievous hurt to her. The court framed charges against Delhi resident Hitesh for allegedly raping the girl with the help of his associate Monu in a moving car on March 19, 2010 in Bawana area in Northwest Delhi after kidnapping her. His accomplice Monu is absconding. The court said as the girl had resisted the rape attempt in the car, the accused hit her hard on her backbone, leading to immediate paralysis waist downward. The judge noted that after raping the girl, the accused "deliberately" drove their car into a ditch, making it look like an accident. They had already jumped out of the car but the victim, who was inside, suffered further injuries and eventually died last year after a long treatment. The court has put Hitesh on trial for offences of murder, kidnapping, gangrape, destruction of evidence and various other penal provisions of the IPC. Police said the incident took place when the girl was returning from her grandparents' house in March 2010. On her way home, she was accosted by the accused men and dragged inside their car. The ASJ added, "For the young girl aged 15 years, her life virtually came to an end within a matter of minutes as soon as she was forcibly lifted by the accused and raped in the moving car, which thereafter was driven into a ditch in an attempt to finish her. The trauma and pain which the girl must have undergone cannot be imagined." The court also noted that a magistrate had to go to the hospital to record her statement.

MUMBAI: An assistant commissioner of police from the Vinoba Bhave Nagar police station has been accused by a woman of sexually harassing her. This is the third time in a year that such charges have been levelled against personnel posted at the police station in Kurla. According to the woman's complaint, an assistant commissioner of police offered her sweets, eating which she fell unconscious; the officer then shot a video of her in a compromising state and started blackmailing her. The victim complained that the ACP, who has now been posted in a comparatively less important branch, has been blackmailing her with the video, asking her for sexual favours. Some senior police officials remained tight-lipped about the increasing crime against women by the men in khaki. "An inquiry and verification is going on and until we receive a report, I cannot comment," said Rajnish Seth, joint commissioner of police (law and order). Other officers, however, said they were taking efforts to curb such crimes. "When somebody commits a crime, we take action, irrespective of his post or department. We go by the law and will not tolerate misbehaviour with women," said a senior officer.

Following a writ petition filed by a software professional alleging that Syam Sundar, an IPS officer of the 2005 batch and presently working as urban SP of Guntur, is romantically involved with his estranged wife, the AP high court has ordered the authorities to probe the matter. After admitting the write plea of Kotha Karthik, Justice R Subhash Reddy, in his order on Thursday, asked the authorities to probe whether the several calls the SP had made to Karthik's estranged wife Yadlapalli Gopipriya at odd hours between January 1 and March 20, 2012, were in connection with the investigation in the dowry harassment case. "We pleaded with the court that the SP's clandestine relationship be brought out. Let the CID probe the entire matter," Karthik's counsel B Purushottam Reddy said.

But they walked free on bail within two and a half hours. In contrast, Ambikesh, who was arrested for forwarding a chain mail that lampooned chief minister Mamata Banerjee, spent 16 hours in police custody and was forced to go to court when he could have easily been bailed at the police station itself.

Also, while Ambikesh filed his complaint around 8pm on Friday, the four alleged attackers were nabbed only around Saturday noon. Police had shown much more alacrity in arresting Ambikesh and his 74-year-old neighbour Subrata Sengupta, whose ID he used to forward the chain mail, as soon as they were dragged to East Jadavpur police station by Trinamool supporters around midnight on Thursday. These obvious discrepancies led to cries of discrimination by the teacher's family and friends.

HYDERABAD: Director general of police (DGP) Dinesh Reddy on Friday filed an appeal in the AP high court urging it to suspend the recent ruling of a single judge who ordered a probe against him besides directing the registry of the court to launch a criminal contempt case against the state police chief and chief of the CID wing S V Ramanamurthy. It may be recalled that the single judge had heard three petitions filed by senior IPS officer Umesh Kumar against Dinesh Reddy and ordered a probe against both of them apart from launching a criminal case against the two officers on charges of suppression of information. "Umesh is an accused in a forgery case and is also facing allegations of corruption, whereas there are no such allegations of corruption against me", Dinesh Reddy said in his petition. "In his anxiety to get out of the cases, Umesh may have tried to project it as a case of rivalry between him and me, but the single judge should not have allowed this design", the DGP pleaded. "By treating it as a spat between two of us, the single judge had failed to see the real picture," he contended. "I have expressed my readiness for a probe regarding the alleged property transactions of my wife and the state issued a memo in this regard and, hence, there is no need for ordering a probe," he said. Denying the charge that the CID chief was acting at his behest, Dinesh Reddy, in his appeal, said that he (CID chief) was corresponding with the state and was routing the copies to the state through the DGP office. Dinesh Reddy further said he had no control over the CID chief whatsoever. Reddy also contended that there was no suppression of any material or distortion of facts before the court. He sought the suspension of the order of single judge saying that the order was contrary to the material available on record.

Despite Pune police commissioner Meeran Borwankar sending out strict orders to all the 29 police stations in the city to collect information about hotels, lodges and cyber cafes in the city, only 15 stations have complied with the order. This information was revealed when activist Rajesh Shende filed a query under the Right to Information (RTI) Act, 2005. The police stations in Bharati Vidyapeeth, Hadapsar, Warje Malwadi, Hinjewadi, Mundhwa, Dattawadi, Kondhwa, Chatuhshrungi, Vishrambaug, Wanavdi, Deccan Gymkhana, Pimpri, Samarth, Vishrantwadi and Khadki areas complied with the orders. While 14 other police stations of Khadak, Kothrud, Farashkhana, Shivajinagar, Bund Garden, Swargate, Sahakarnagar, Cantonment, Nigdi, Bhosari, Sangvi, Yerawada and Airport areas failed to provide the information.

ड्यूटी से घर वापस लौट रहे एक पुलिस कर्मी की शुक्रवार देर रात कोटकपूरा रेलवे ओवरब्रिज पर सड़क हादसे में मौत हो गई। मृतक का पोस्टमार्टम करवाने के बाद शव को पुलिस ने परिजनों के हवाले कर दिया गया। मृतक की पहचान अर्शदीप तिवारी पुत्र जगदीप तिवारी वासी लाजपत नगर, गली नंबर 3, कोटकपूरा के रूप में हुई है। जानकारी के अनुसार अर्शदीप तिवारी वर्तमान समय में एसएसपी कार्यालय फरीदकोट में बतौर कंप्यूटर आपरेटर के रूप में कार्यरत था। अर्शदीप के एक रिश्तेदार ने बताया कि अभी उसकी कुल सर्विस दस साल ही हुई थी, वह अपने पीछे पत्‍‌नी मनदीप तिवारी व दो छोटी बेटियों को छोड़ गया है। जिला जेल में तैनात एक पुलिस मुलाजिम की वीरवार रात को सड़क हादसे में मौत हो गई। जानकारी के अनुसार जिला जेल में तैनात मुलाजिम हरमेश सिंह वीरवार रात को ड्यूटी खत्म होने के बाद घर लौट रहा था कि अज्ञात वाहन ने उन्हें टक्कर मार दी। घायल अवस्था में उन्हें सिविल अस्पताल रूपनगर में दाखिल करवाया गया, लेकिन हालत गंभीर होने के कारण प्राथमिक उपचार के बाद पीजीआई चंडीगढ़ रैफर कर दिया गया, जहां उनकी मौत हो गई। पुलिस ने केस दर्ज करने के बाद अगली कारवाई शुरू कर दी है। बताया जाता है कि हरमेश सिंह का गांव भंगाला (रूपनगर) का निवासी था और उसकी चार बेटियां व एक बेटा था। शुक्रवार बाद दोपहर उसका पैतृक गांव भंगाला में अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया।

VADODARA: A State Reserve Police (SRP) jawan died at Nazarbaug Palace on Friday night. The jawan is said to be suffering from jaundice, which may have led to his death. Rajendra Parmar, an armed police constable of SRP Group II, was posted in the city along with other members of his company. ources said Parmar was suffering with jaundice since the last few days. He was being treated at Jamnabai Hospital located near Mandvi. He used to stay in a tent in Nazarbaug Palace compound along with other personnel. Parmar is a resident of Danilimda area in Ahmedabad. He is survived by wife and three children.

To crack the carjacking and kidnapping case of noted businessman Sant Singh, the police have sought help from the general public through social networking sites. Three miscreants had allegedly kidnapped Sant Singh, 81, in his Mohindra Logan car from the Ferozepur road in broad daylight on Thursday. Later, they dropped Singh near Jagraon and fled with the car. The Sarabha Nagar police had registered a case against the unidentified miscreants on the complaint of Singh's driver Jaswinder Singh, alias, Jassi. Soon after the incident, the police had put all details regarding the incident, including the car number and its make, on its official page on Facebook, appealing the people to inform the police if they have any information in this connection. The appeal came with an assurance that the police would guard the informers' identity. To avail maximum possible support from the public, the police have shared the message on other networking sites as well. At present, around 6,000 people are connected with the Ludhiana police through Facebook.

मेरठ : छठी वाहिनी पीएसी के एक जवान पर मेरठ की पुलिस लाइंस को ही अपनी रंगरलियां मनाने का अड्डा बनाने का आरोप है। वहां रहने वाले अन्य पुलिसकर्मियों के परिवार ने उसका विरोध किया, लेकिन हवस के जुनून में उसने किसी की नहीं सुनी। मजबूरन लोगों ने इसकी शिकायत अधिकरियों से की। शुक्रवार को पुलिस ने उसे उसकी प्रेमिका के साथ आपत्तिजनक हालत में रंगे हाथों गिरफ्तार कर लिया। पुलिस का कहना है कि जवान के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई करने की तैयारी की जा रही है। लोकेश छठी वाहिनी पीएसी में जवान के पद पर तैनात है। पुलिस लाइन में रहने वाले परिवारों के अनुसार पुलिस में ही तैनात एक महिलाकर्मी को आई-23 क्वार्टर अलॉट किया गया है। लेकिन अधिकांश समय इस क्वॉर्टर पर ताला लटका रहता है। आरोप है कि इस क्वॉर्टर में अक्सर लोकेश एक जवान लड़की के साथ आता जाता है। ताला खोलकर यहां घंटों रहता है और फिर वापस चला जाता है। आसपास रह रहे अन्य पुलिस कर्मियों के परिजनों को आरोपी जवान की गतिविधियां संदिग्ध लगीं। उन्होंने लोकेश को समझाने की कोशिश की। उन्होंने लोकेश से कहा कि वह इस तरह की हरकतें कर यहां का माहौल खराब न करे। लेकिन पीएसी के इस जवान के कानों पर जंू नहीं रेंगी और यह सिलसिला चलता रहा। इस पर पुलिसकर्मियों के परिजनों ने इसकी शिकायत आरआई पीपी कर्णवाल से की। उन्होंने पुलिस लाइन के इन कर्मियों से कहा कि इस बार जब यह जवान आए तो उन्हें बताएं। शुक्रवार को जैसे ही लोकेश अपने साथ लड़की लेकर यहां आया और ताला खोलकर अंदर गया, लोगों ने वरिष्ठ अधिकारी को मोबाइल पर इसकी सूचना दे दी। सूचना मिलते ही आरआई ने थाना सिविल लाइन पुलिस को मामले की जानकारी दी। इसके बाद पुलिस ने पुलिस लाइन पहुुंचकर क्वॉर्टर में छापा मारा तो यहां लोकेश और साथ आई लड़की को आपत्तिजनक हालत में पाया गया। पुलिस पीएसी के जवान लोकेश को थाना सिविल लाइन ओर लड़की को महिला थाने ले गई। दोनों से पूछताछ की गई तो उन्होंने बताया कि वह आपस में प्रेम करते हैं। पुलिस ने दोनों को हिरासत में ले लिया। पकड़े जाने के बाद पीएसी का जवान पुलिस और आरआई से माफी मांगता रहा, लेकिन पुलिस आरोपी के खिलाफ कानूनी कार्रवाई करने की तैयारी कर रही है।

BOKARO: The setting up of two model police stations in the steel city is getting delayed as the police department is finding it difficult to acquire land from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) for its construction. The police officials have expressed discontent against BSL after getting unsatisfactory response from them. The department plans to upgrade the Harla and Marphari police stations and require land in this regard. The model police stations will be equipped with separate cells for men and women, barrack, residential quarters for police officers, computer room, etc. SP Kuldeep Dwivedi has asked the BSL management to provide land for the two stations but the firm is yet to give a positive response to the police department. The BSL management has informed the SP that sale and lease of company land has been suspended since May, 2011 as per central government directives. The chairman of Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) has issued a direction to the BSL management that the authorities have to seek permission from Cabinet for sale or lease of land. "The BSL management cannot allot land to the district police department before getting a no objection certificate (NOC) from central government," said a BSL officer.

Srinagar: The Cyber Crime Cell of Jammu and Kashmir police has claimed to have uncovered a network of youths who used social networking sites to foment trouble in the state during the last few years. "We have identified the persons who have been indulging in trouble mongering over the past couple of years by using the social networking sites," Inspector General of Police (Kashmir Zone) SM Sahai told PTI. Some of the youths have already been questioned, but no arrest has been made so far in the case, he said.

गुरुवार की रात कार में सवार बदमाशों ने पुलिस पार्टी पर जानलेवा हमला किया। बदमाशों की ओर से की गई ताबड़तोड़ फायरिंग में एसओ और एक सिपाही गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। पुलिस टीम की ओर से की गई जवाबी फायरिंग में एक बदमाश भी घायल हो गया। पुलिस ने एक बदमाश को गिरफ्तार कर दिल्ली से लूटी गई स्विफ्ट कार बरामद कर ली है। घटना की सूचना पाकर एसएसपी सहित पुलिस के तमाम आला अधिकारी मौके पर पहुंचे। जानकारी के अनुसार पुलिस जिला मुख्यालय को थाना मगोर्रा के कस्बा सौंख स्थित एक ढाबे पर बदमाशों के पहुंचने की सूचना मुखबिर से मिली थी। इस पर एसओ महावन अवधेश त्रिपाठी एसओजी टीम के साथ बदमाशों की धरपकड़ के लिए रवाना हो गए। गुरुवार की रात करीब 10.30 बजे पुलिसकर्मी कस्बा सौंख के कुम्हेर रोड स्थित ब्रजवासी ढाबे पर भोजन कर रहे थे। इसी बीच एक स्विफ्ट डिजायर कार वहां आकर रुकी और उसमें से उतरे 2 युवकों ने ढाबे के मालिक से 20 रोटियां और सब्जी पैक करने को कहा। पुलिसकर्मियों को कुछ शक हुआ तो उन्होंने कार की घेराबंदी कर उसे अपने कब्जे में लेने का प्रयास किया। इस पर कार में सवार बदमाशों ने पुलिस पर सीधी फायरिंग कर दी। इसके जवाब में पुलिस ने भी गोलीबारी की। गोलियों की तड़तड़ाहट सुनकर ढाबे पर खाना खा रहे ग्राहकों में भगदड़ मच गई। वहां मौजूद लोगों ने किसी तरह छिपकर जान बचाई। इसी बीच कार को ढाबे पर ही छोड़कर बदमाश जंगल की ओर भाग निकले, लेकिन पुलिस ने पीछा कर एक बदमाश को दबोच लिया। बदमाशों की गोली से एसओ अवधेश त्रिपाठी और सिपाही सर्वेश दुबे गंभीर रूप से घायल हो गए। दोनों घायलों को पुलिस जीप से ही स्वर्णजयंती अस्पताल भिजवाया गया। घटना की सूचना पाकर एसएसपी धर्मवीर, एसपी देहात पी.के. तिवारी बड़ी संख्या में पुलिस फोर्स लेकर घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे। पूरी रात जंगल में पुलिस कॉम्बिंग भी हुई, लेकिन इसमें पुलिसकर्मियों को कोई सफलता नहीं मिली। एसएसपी धर्मवीर ने बताया कि पकड़ा गया बदमाश राजस्थान के भरतपुर का रहने वाले देवेंद्र है। बदमाशों से बरामद स्विफ्ट कार 2 अप्रैल को दिल्ली निवासी भगवान शुक्ला से लूटी गई थी। बदमाशों ने उनके बेटे प्रशांत को भी गोली मारकर घायल कर दिया था। एसएसपी के अनुसार पकड़े गए बदमाश से पूछताछ जारी है। पुलिस को पूछताछ से कई संगीन वारदात के खुलासे की भी संभावना है।

नई दिल्ली/रांची/भोपाल/रायपुर. अजीबोगरीब उपायों के बूते लोगों की समस्याएं हल करने का दावा करने वाले निर्मल बाबा खुद मुसीबत में हैं। बेशुमार दौलत होने का खुलासा होने के बाद देशभर में उनके खिलाफ गुस्सा दिखने लगा है। शनिवार को कुछ और शहरों के लोग शिकायत लेकर थाने पहुंचे। रायपुर और भोपाल पुलिस बाबा से पूछताछ की तैयारी में है। दोनों शहरों के थानों में बाबा के खिलाफ शुक्रवार को शिकायत दर्ज कराई गई थी। भोपाल सीएसपी राजेश सिंह भदौरिया ने बताया कि बाबा से जल्द ही पूछताछ की जाएगी। टीवी चैनलों के मुताबिक बाबा भक्तों से मिले पैसे होटल कारोबार में लगा रहे थे। दिल्ली में उन्होंने अक्षरा होटल खरीदा था। टीवी चैनलों के मुताबिक बाबा भक्तों से मिले पैसे होटल कारोबार में लगा रहे थे। दिल्ली में उन्होंने अक्षरा होटल खरीदा था। खुलासा होने के बाद बाबा के भक्त घट गए और खाते में पैसा आना कम हो गया। औसतन रोज 4500 लोग बाबा के खाते में पैसा जमा कराते थे। लेकिन शुक्रवार को 1800 लोगों ने ही पैसे जमा कराए। अब खुद भक्तों के भरोसे टीवी वालों को फोन करके बताओ मेरी शक्ति के बारे मेंनिर्मल बाबा बचाव की मुद्रा में हैं। जिन भक्तों के संकट दूर करने का वे दावा करते थे, शनिवार को उन्हीं भक्तों से खुद का संकट दूर करने का निवेदन करने लगे। बाबा ने ट्वीट करके अपने अनुयायियों से कहा कि वे टीवी चैनलों को फोन करके मेरी शक्तियों और अपने अनुभव के बारे में बताएं। बाबा ने भक्तों से शांति और संयम बरतने की अपील करते हुए कहा कि मैंने कुछ गलत नहीं किया। मैं सभी नियम कायदों का पालन करता हूं, मैं टैक्स भरता हूं तो फिर मेरा काम गैरकानूनी कैसे हो सकता है। ईंट-भट्टों का धंधा नहीं चला तो निर्मलजीत बने बाबा निर्मल बाबा यानी निर्मलजीत सिंह। ये झारखंड के पूर्व विधानसभा अध्यक्ष इंदर¨सह नामधारी के साले हैं। नामधारी बताते हैं कि ७क् के दशक में निर्मल के पिता की हत्या कर दी गई थी। उसके बाद मां ने निर्मल को झारखंड के डाल्टनगंज भेज दिया। वहां उन्होंने कपड़े की दुकान खोली। कुछ सालों में वह बंद हो गई। फिर निर्मल ब्रिक्स नाम से ईंट भट्टों का धंधा करने लगे। वह भी नहीं चला। तो अंत में निर्मल बाबा बनकर कृपा के कारोबार में आ गए। समागम में प्रति व्यक्ति से 2000 रुपए फीस लेते हैं बाबा की कमाई का सबसे बड़ा जरिया है समागम के नाम पर ली जाने वाली फीस। बाबा प्रति व्यक्ति से 2000 रुपए लेते हैं। व्यक्तिगत रूप से मिलने वालों से 10 हजार रु. तक लिए जाते थे। एक समागम में करीब 5 हजार लोग रहते हैं। एक महीने में 5 से 7 ऐसे कार्यक्रम होते हैं। इन समागमों का करीब 36 चैनलों पर प्रसारण होता है। एवज में बाबा 17 लाख रुपए चुकाते हैं। इंटरव्यू में बोले- मेरा सालाना टर्नओवर 238 करोड़ रुपए बाबा ने टीवी इंटरव्यू में माना कि उनका सालाना टर्न ओवर 238 करोड़ रुपए है। निर्मल बाबा दो तरह के खातों का संचालन करते हैं। एक खुद के नाम और दूसरा निर्मल दरबार के नाम से। निर्मल दरबार के खातों में भक्तों द्वारा रुपया जमा कराए जाने के बाद बाबा उसे अपने खाते में ट्रांसफर करवा लेते हैं। खाते में सुषमा नरुला का नाम नॉमिनी के रूप में है। वह बाबा की पत्नी है। उनके भक्तों में आम आदमी ही नहीं, बड़े-बड़े अधिकारी, राजनेता, इंजीनियर भी शामिल हैं। अजीब तरह के टिप्स निर्मल बाबा समागम में लोगों को काले पर्स में पैसे रखने, अलमारी में 10 के नोटों की गड्डी रखने, गोलगप्पे खाने और पूजा के स्थान पर मृत बुजुर्गो की उल्टी तस्वीर रखने के सुझाव देते हैं। आय का 10वां हिस्सा दो नोटों के ढेर पर बैठे बाबा का जोर दसवंद पर रहता था। दसवंद यानी आय का दसवां हिस्सा। बाबा भक्तों से कहते हैं कि वे अपनी आय का दसवां हिस्सा उन्हें दान में दें। इससे उनकी समस्याएं खत्म होंगी। खूब निवेश किया >नौ जनवरी को 20 करोड़ रु. का फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट किया। > 11 जनवरी को पांच करोड़ रु. का फिक्स्ड डिपॉजिट किया। >बैंक में जमा रकम से सूद के 85.77 लाख रुपए मिले। >दिल्ली के ग्रेटर कैलाश में बाबा ने अक्षरा होटल खरीदा। >होटल पर अभी निर्मल बुटिक होटल का बोर्ड लगा है। >निर्मल बाबा होटल की चेन भी खोलना चाहते थे। आयकर विभाग की नजर मीडिया रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक आयकर विभाग और फाइनेंशियल इंटेलिजेंस यूनिट आमदनी और निवेश पर जल्द जांच शुरू करने वाली है। छिपे खातों में 4 माह में 123 करोड़ जमा चैनलों के मुताबिक बाबा का एक खाता निर्मलजीत सिंह नरूला के नाम पर भी है। इसका अकाउंट नंबर (1546000102129694) विज्ञापनों में नहीं दिखाया जाता। इस खाते में ४ जनवरी से 13 अप्रैल 2012 के बीच 123 करोड़ रुपए जमा हुए थे। इस दौरान 105.56 करोड़ रुपए निकाले भी गए। निकासी 16 बार हुई है। 13 अप्रैल शाम तक खाते में 17.47 करोड़ थे।

Bangalore: Karnataka government on Saturday decided to appoint AR Infant as Director General of Police following the High Court's verdict which had struck down the appointment of Shankar Bidari as state DGP and IG. "Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda had a meeting with senior officers and we decided to give charge to AR Infant as DGP of Karnataka", Home Minister R Asoka told reporters here. However, the government would move the Supreme Court against the High Court verdict, as it has to protect the interests of the state, he said. "Since the appointment of the DGP comes under the state government, we have told our Advocate General to appeal in Supreme Court", Asoka said. The High Court had yesterday dismissed the writ petitions filed by the state government and Bidari challenging the Central Administrative Tribunal order as "without merit and substance" and held his empanelment by UPSC and consequent appointment as "void and illegal." The court had also directed the state government to relieve Bidari forthwith and appoint AR Infant in his place
