NEW DELHI: No other investigating agency other than the Delhi Police will interrogate journalist Syed Mohammed Ahmad Kazmi, arrested for his alleged role in the February 13 bombing of an Israeli diplomat car, a trial court said on Wednesday. "This is expected that the Special Cell will not permit other investigating agencies to make the applicant (Kazmi) an experimental block," chief metropolitan magistrate Vinod Yadav said while deciding the plea of Kazmi in which he had alleged that he was being "interrogated by officials of other investigating agencies, like Mossad of Israel, RAW, IB and others" . In its order, the court, however , told the police that it was not barred from sharing information with other investigating agencies. "I do not see any bar on the investigating agency (Delhi Police) sharing information of the interrogation of the applicant (Kazmi) with the investigating agencies of other countries, particularly of Israel and Iran, as India is a signatory to the UN Convention of Prevention and Suppression of Terrorism (Implementation of Security Council Resolution), 2007," the judge said.

BHOPAL: The traffic cops in the city would soon get the cover of umbrella, a hands free umbrella to be precise, to protect them from blazing sun while they man the Bhopal city traffic. The traffic cops are exposed to the sun during the long working hours in summers in absence of a canopy at almost all the traffic junctions. The government has already placed and order for 100 such umbrellas. White in colour, the specially designed umbrella for the traffic cops would weigh around a kilogram and will cost Rs 1500 per piece. They are expected to be delivered by the month end, sources informed. Such umbrellas are already being used successfully by traffic constables in Kolkata.

The concerned Kamla Nagar police have denied registering any case in this regard. "The woman was living alone and in depression. She hardly interacted with anyone," an official said. Fifteen-month-old labradors Karna and Arjuna, who had undergone training for 11 months and passed all the tests at the Dog Squad Training Centre in Bangalore, joined city police on Tuesday. Raviraj, one of the two handlers of the dogs said, "Basic obedience, useful obedience, marching and parade are the primary trainings given to all sniffer dogs." "Karna and Arjuna are specially trained to detect drugs like charas, ganja, opium, brown sugar and cocaine. They can carry out search operations in locations like buildings and vehicles. They can sniff more drugs if they are trained further," he added. Only an officer of the rank of deputy commissioner of police can conduct tests for sniffer dogs.

मेरठ : कत्ल-ओ-गारत के लिए बदनाम मेरठ के माथे पर मंगलवार को एक और दाग लग गया। एक सिपाही की पुलिस लाइन में ही उसके सरकारी आवास में हत्या कर दी गई। कई दिनों पहले की गई इस सनसनीखेज हत्या की जानकारी उस वक्त पुलिस को मिली, जब शव की बदबू ने मोहल्लेवालों का जीना मुहाल कर दिया। पुलिस शव की तलाश करते हुए सिपाही के मकान पर पहुंची तो दीवान बेड के अंदर लाश बरामद हुई। लाश इतनी सड़ चुकी थी कि उसकी पहचान मुश्किल थी। परिजनों ने कपड़ों से शव की शिनाख्त की। वारदात के बाद डीआइजी हरिराम शर्मा समेत तमाम आला अधिकारियों ने मौका-ए-वारदात का दौरा किया। पुलिस लाइन के गेट नंबर 5 में एसओजी कार्यालय से चंद कदम दूरी पर एस ब्लॉक की तीन मंजिला सरकारी बिल्डिंग है। यहां रहने वाले लोग पिछले दो दिनों से मांस के सड़ने जैसी दुर्गध महसूस कर रहे थे। तलाश शुरू हुई तो पता चला कि बदबू ब्लॉक की दूसरी मंजिल पर स्थित मकान नंबर 63 से आ रही है। मकान के दरवाजे पर बाहर से कुंडी लगी हुई थी। मुख्य दरवाजा खोलकर जब लोग अंदर घुसे तो वहां बदबू ही बदबू थी। तत्काल आरआइ पीपी कर्णवाल को जानकारी दी गई। आरआइ सिविल लाइन पुलिस के साथ घटनास्थल पर पहुंचे। थोड़ी देर की तलाशी के बाद बेड के दीवान में छिपाकर रखा गया शव सड़ी-गली हालत में बरामद हुआ। शव की हालत से शिनाख्त करना मुश्किल था। पुलिस ने शव पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया। सूचना मिलने पर दोपहर बाद परिजन अनिल व नीरज पोस्टमार्टम हाउस पहुंचे। कपड़े व कमर में बंधी तगड़ी देखकर उन्होंने शव की शिनाख्त अपने भाई प्रदीप के रूप में ही की। आरआइ पीपी कर्णवाल ने बताया कि मकान नंबर 63 में सिपाही शीशपाल अपने परिवार के साथ रहता था। शीशपाल गाजियाबाद जिले के कविनगर थाना क्षेत्र के सदरपुर में रहता था। वर्ष 2010 में एक दुर्घटना में उसकी मौत हो गई थी, जिसके बाद उसके सबसे छोटे बेटे प्रदीप को मृतक आश्रित कोटे में नौकरी मिल गई थी। सरकारी आवास उसकी मां रमा के नाम हो गया था, जिसमें प्रदीप अपनी पत्नी पिंकी, बड़ी बेटी खुशी व बेटे आयुष के साथ रहता था। प्रदीप का बार्डर स्कीम के तहत पिछले दिनों बदायूं तबादला हो गया था, मगर उसका परिवार यही रहता था। दो महीने पहले पिंकी ने तीसरे बच्चे को जन्म दिया था, जिसकी वजह से वह बच्चों के साथ तीन महीने से सुसराल में ही रह रही थी। मकान पर ताला लगा था और कभी-कभी प्रदीप ही यहां आता था। --------------- मृतक सिपाही शराब पीने और हुड़दंगी स्वभाव का होने के चलते कई बार सस्पेंड हो चुका था। प्रथम दृष्टया घटना अवैध संबंधों से जोड़कर देखी जा रही है। हरिराम शर्मा, डीआइजी

UP Police: Locknow: जारी है यूपी में पुलिस अधिकारियों के तबादलों का दौर..

यूपी सरकार ने पुलिस प्रशासन में एक और फेरबदल करते हुए सोमवार देर रात 10 सीनियर पुलिस अधिकारियों का तबादला कर दिया। इसमें आगरा के डीआईजी भी शामिल हैं। गृह विभाग के अनुसार सहकारिता सेल में तैनात पुलिस महानिदेशक ओ. पी. दीक्षित को सतर्कता अधिष्ठान लखनऊ में निदेशक पद पर भेजा गया है, जबकि अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक रिजवान अहमद को दूरसंचार विभाग में इसी पद पर नई तैनाती दी गई है। अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक कानून एवं व्यवस्था सुबेश कुमार सिंह को प्रशिक्षण मुख्यालय लखनऊ भेजा गया है, जबकि उनकी जगह पर पीटीसी मुरादाबाद के अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक जगमोहन यादव को तैनात किया गया है।

सिंह के पास एसटीएफ और एटीएस का अतिरिक्त प्रभार था। डीजीपी मुख्यालय से संबद्ध अपर पुलिस महानिदेशक ए. पी. महेश्वरी को मानवाधिकार विभाग में इसी पद पर ट्रांसफर किया गया है और पुलिस महानिदेशक ईओडब्ल्यू जवाहर लाल त्रिपाठी को मेरठ क्षेत्र का पुलिस महानिरीक्षक बनाया गया है, जबकि यहां तैनात राजीव कृष्ण को डीजीपी मुख्यालय से संबद्ध कर दिया गया है। महानिदेशक कार्मिक के पद पर तैनात अभय प्रसाद इसी पद पर पीएसी मुख्यालय लखनऊ भेजा गया, जबकि अधिसूचना मुख्यालय में तैनात पुलिस अधीक्षक सुनील चंद बाजपेयी को आगरा का वरिष्ठ पुलिस अधीक्षक बनाया गया है। यहां तैनात असीम कुमार अरुण को डीजीपी मुख्यालय से संबद्ध कर दिया गया है।

दिल्ली पुलिस की परिवहन ईकाई द्वारा विभिन्न स्थानों पर लगाए गए 36 सीसीटीवी काम नहीं कर रहे हैं. गृह राज्य मंत्री मुल्लापल्ली रामचंद्रन ने लोकसभा में अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर, जगदीश शर्मा, वीरेन्द्र कश्यप और डा. बलिराम के सवालों के लिखित जवाब में यह जानकारी दी. उन्होंने बताया कि दिल्ली में दिल्ली पुलिस की यातायात ईकाई द्वारा लगाए गए 36 कलोज्ड सर्किट कैमरों को छोड़कर बाकी सभी सुचारू रूप से काम कर रहे हैं. ये कैमरे उस कंपनी के हैं जिसने कैमरों की आपूर्ति की थी और उन्हें लागू एवं चालू था, उसके साथ वार्षिक रखरखाव ठेके में विवाद होने की वजह से ठीक कार्य नहीं कर रहे हैं. हालांकि उन्होंने बताया कि दिल्ली में सीसीटीवी की मदद से वर्ष 2010 में 250 में से तीन, वर्ष 2011 में 442 में से 17 तथा वर्ष 2012 में 67 में से दो मामले सुलझाए गए. उन्होंने बताया कि दिल्ली यातायात पुलिस द्वारा शहर के नौ महत्वपूर्ण स्थानों में 36 सीसीटीवी कैमरे लगाए गए हैं. रामचंद्रन ने बताया कि महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने भी मुंबई शहर को कवर करने के लिए सीसीटीवी लगाने के कदम उठाने की कार्रवाई शुरू की है.
