UP Police: CRPF constable commits suicide...

Muzaffarnagar, Oct 27 (PTI) Depressed over not getting leave on Diwali, a CRPF constable allegedly shot himself dead in Uttar Pradesh's Moradabad town, police said here today. Sohanvir Singh (35), a native of Basayach village, yesterday shot himself dead in Moradabad, where he is posted, they said, adding that he was depressed over not getting leave on Diwali.

In another incident at Greater Noida, a 30-year-old engineer of a private company allegedly committed suicide at his residence by hanging himself from a ceiling fan after his wife refused to accompany him to his native town Muzaffarnagar for Diwali celebrations, police said.
