छत्तीसगढ़ के नक्सल प्रभावित दंतेवाड़ा जिले में नक्सलियों ने बारुदी सुरंग में विस्फोट कर एंटी लैंड माइन विकल को उड़ा दिया, जिससे उसमें सवार 10 पुलिसकर्मी शहीद हो गए तथा चार अन्य घायल हो गए। शहीदों में आठ विशेष पुलिस अधिकारी (एसपीओ) शामिल हैं।
दंतेवाड़ा जिले के पुलिस अधिकारियों ने शुक्रवार को को बताया कि जिले के कटकल्याण थाना क्षेत्र के अंतर्गत गाटम गांव के करीब नक्सलियों ने बारूदी सुरंग में विस्फोट कर एंटी लैण्ड माइन वाहन विकल को उड़ा दिया तथा जबरदस्त गोलीबारी की। इस घटना में जिला पुलिस बल के दो आरक्षक एंटी लैण्ड माइन वाहन विकल के चालक किशन, आरक्षक उड़िया मुरा और आठ विशेष पुलिस अधिकारी गजेंद्र ठाकुर, इतवारी, योगेश्वर मिड़यामी, सुनील शर्मा, चमन लाल ओयाम, सुखनाथ गावड़े, रतिराम मौर्य और बुकसु राम कुंजाम शहीद हो गए तथा चार अन्य जवान घायल हो गए हैं।
पुलिस अधिकारियों ने बताया कि बीती देर रात दंतेवाड़ा पुलिस मुख्यालय से दो वाहनों में पुलिसकर्मी कटेकल्याण रवाना हुए थे। पुलिस दल जब गाटम गांव के करीब पहुंचा तब नक्सलियों ने एक नहर पर बने छोटे से पुल के करीब बारूदी सुरंग में विस्फोट कर दिया।
इस घटना में पुलिस वाहन के पीछे चल रहा एंटी लैण्ड माइन वाहन विकल क्षतिग्रस्त हो गया। इस घटना के दौरान नक्सलियों ने पुलिसकर्मियों पर अंधाधुंध गोलीबारी भी शुरू कर दी। जिसका पुलिस दल ने भी जवाब दिया।

रायपुर. छत्तीसगढ़ में देर रात नक्सलियों ने पुलिस दल पर जबर्दस्त हमला किया, जिसमें १० पुलिसकर्मियों की मौत हो गई। घटना स्थल से करीब ८० किलो विस्फोटक बरामद किया गया है। ९ लाशें बरामद कर ली गई हैं। घायलों को जगदलपुर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया है। घटना कटे कल्याण क्षेत्र की बताई गई है। इसके पहले नारायणपुर से 25 किमी दूर ओरछा रोड पर झारा घाटी में गुरुवार तड़के सीएएफ कैंप पर माओवादियों के हमले में प्रधान आरक्षक समेत पांच जवान शहीद हो गए। कुल दो घटनाओं में १४ लोगों की मौत हो गई है।
नक्सलियों ने गुरुवार की रात करीब 11.30 बजे नक्सली वारदात को अंजाम दिया। दंतेवाड़ा जिले से 30 किमी दूर कटे कल्याण के पास स्थित गाटम में उन्होंने जवानों की एंटी लैंड माइन व्हीकल को विस्फोट कर उड़ा दिया। घटना में नौ जवानों के शहीद होने की पुष्टि एसपी अंकित गर्ग ने रात करीब तीन बजे की। व्हीकल में १३ जवान सवार थे। चार गंभीर रूप से घायल हैं। उन्हें साढ़े तीन बजे जगदलपुर पहुंचाया गया। नक्सलियों के जनपितुरी पखवाड़े के कारण कटेकल्याण से दो गाडिय़ों में पुलिस पार्टी सर्चिंग के लिए निकली थी। आगे चल रही एक गाड़ी तो सुरक्षित थाने लौट आई, लेकिन पीछे वाली गाड़ी को नक्सलियों ने ब्रिज के पास बारूदी सुरंग विस्फोट कर उड़ा दिया।
नारायणपुर से 25 किमी दूर ओरछा रोड पर झारा घाटी में गुरुवार तड़के सीएएफ कैंप पर माओवादियों के हमले में प्रधान आरक्षक समेत पांच जवान शहीद हो गए।
झारा घाटी में सैकड़ों माओवादियों ने कैंप से बाहर निकले चार जवानों को निशाना बनाया। फिर मोर्चा नंबर 6 पर तैनात संतरी को भी गोली मार दी। इस दौरान उन्होंने कैंप पर हाई एक्सप्लोसिव बम भी फेंके। माओवादियों को पुलिस की मुस्तैदी और जवाबी कार्रवाई के बाद पीछे हटना पड़ा।
धौड़ाई थाना क्षेत्र के झारा घाटी में डेढ़ माह पहले सीएएफ ने कैंप स्थापित किया था। फोर्स की मौजूदगी से माओवादियों की गतिविधियां प्रभावित होने लगी थीं। झारा घाटी से गुजरने वाली सड़क से ही अबूझमाड़ तक वाहनों से सीधी पहुंच संभव है।

MP Police: सिमी कार्यकर्ता की गोली से एटीएस जवान शहीद
रतलाम रतलाम/ग्वालियर. रतलाम रेलवे स्टेशन पर जीआरपी थाने के पास शुक्रवार शाम को एंटी टेररिस्ट स्क्वॉड (एटीएस) तथा सिमी कार्यकर्ताओं के बीच मुठभेड़ में एटीएस के एक जवान की मौत हो गई। मूलत: ग्वालियर निवासी शहीद जवान शिवप्रताप सिंह कुशवाह कुछ समय पहले ही एटीएस में तैनात हुए थे।
इस घटना में एटीएस के रतलाम प्रभारी मनीष दुबे सहित दो अन्य घायल हुए हैं। भागते समय सिमी कार्यकर्ता ने अपने ही साथी को गोली मार दी जिससे वह भी गंभीर घायल हो गया। पुलिस ने घायल बदमाश सहित तीन लोगों को गिरफ्तार किया है।

Police news: indore : 15 टीआई के तबादले
इंदौर. पुलिस मुख्यालय से बुधवार को प्रदेश के 268 निरीक्षकों के तबादले आदेश जारी किए हैं। राज्य शासन की नई नीति के तहत उन सभी का तबादला किया गया है, जो एक ही जिले में पांच साल व रेंज में दस साल रह चुके हैं। एक साथ जारी हुई इस सूची में इंदौर में लंबे समय से पदस्थ 15 टीआई भी प्रभावित हुए है।
उधर 18 टीआई की इंदौर पदस्थापना भी की गई है। इसी तरह नौ सबइंस्पेक्टरों को इंदौर रेंज से बाहर भेजा गया है। आईजी संजय राणा के अनुसार जिन थाना प्रभारियों की सेवानिवृत्ति में दो साल बाकी हैं, उनको छोड़कर रेंज में दस साल व जिले में पांच साल रहने वाले बाकी टीआई के भी तबादला होंगे।

Police News: Indore: सात टीआई का जिले से बाहर तबादला
इंदौर. पांच साल से जमे सात टीआई का जिले से बाहर तबादला कर दिया गया है। इन्हें रेंज में ही पदस्थ किया गया है। अब एक-दो दिन में शहर के कई थानों में नए टीआई होंगे।
आईजी संजय राणा के अनुसार पुलिस मुख्यालय की ट्रांसफर लिस्ट के बाद अब पांच साल से थानों में पदस्थ सात टीआई का ट्रांसफर जिले से बाहर किया गया है।
पुलिस मुख्यालय से जारी सूची में इंदौर पदस्थ किए गए थाना प्रभारी सोमवार को आईजी के सामने पेश हुए। संभवत: एक-दो दिन में शहर में रिक्त हुए थानों पर सभी की पदस्थापना कर दी जाएगी।

Guj Police: Police Commissioner Phone: You can reach Ahmedabad's new police commissioner on 89800 02800
If you are among the millions of Amdavadis who find the police unresponsive, you can reach out directly to the city’s new police commissioner, Sudhir Sinha. The 1976 batch IPS officer, who was ADGP (Law and Order) before he was made Ahmedabad police commissioner, took charge on Wednesday from outgoing chief of city police Amitabh Pathak.
After taking charge as Ahmedabad police commissioner, Sinha told media persons that, from Monday, anyone can call him on his personal mobile phone between 7 pm and 10 pm if he needs police help. Sinha’s personal mobile number is 8980002800.
“And I will answer the calls myself,” Sinha told reporters.
But for that people will have to wait till next Monday when he is to be relieved from three additional charges. “I will be busy till Monday. But from Monday I will be able to attend to the calls myself,” he said.Further, people can simply walk into his office from Monday between 11 am and 2 pm to meet him without any prior appointment.
Sinha took charge at 11:02 am on Wednesday. He said that his priority as the city police chief would be to be as close to the people as he could and to help them sort out their problems.“People face problems in dealing with the police, especially while filing complaints. At such times, they can contact me directly on my mobile phone,” he said.
“If an officer doesn’t register a complaint, it doesn’t necessarily mean he is corrupt. More often, he is under pressure because of additional work,” the police commissioner said.
He said that to tackle the work pressure at the police stations, at least 2-3 policemen will be assigned mainly to look into the non-cognizable complaints so that every complainant coming to a police station is attended satisfactorily.

WB Police : Police Hospital: Kolkata Police Hospital gets Mamata dose on revamp
KOLKATA: Another day, another hospital. Continuing with her surprise visits, chief minister Mamata Banerjee stormed into another declining health facility on Thursday afternoon. This time, it was the turn of Kolkata Police Hospital in Bhawanipore to face the CM's prying eyes and queries. The authorities, who barely managed to emerge unscathed, were instructed to prepare a proposal for improvement of facilities that had left Mamata unhappy.
"Ekhane super achen?" (Is the superintendent present here?) - was the chief minister's first query. On Wednesday, the superintendent of Bagha Jatin Hospital was missing when the chief minister had visited it. "How many beds do you have? What about doctors and other facilities?" asked the CM. "We have 300 beds here, Ma'am. There are 17 doctors, including a surgeon, a radiologist and an anaesthetist," replied superintendent Nikhil Ranjan Ray. "But there aren't enough patients here," observed Mamata.
"That's because all police personnel hold a mediclaim policy that entitles them to treatment in a few private facilities. We cater to patients with relatively minor ailments," said Ray. "But we can surely develop the facilities here, can't we?" asked Mamata. "Sure, Ma'am," interjected RMO D Mahajan. "It would be very nice if we can revamp the orthopaedic department. We need more doctors, better x-ray machines for that. Most of our patients need orthopaedic care," he said. The latter also pointed out that x-ray, ECG and ultra-sonography machines in the hospital were shut down after 2 pm.
The CM heard the doctor out and stepped into the elevator. She stopped on the first floor and entered the male ward. After a quick inspection, she headed for the female ward. Here, a woman complained to her about a dearth of medicines. Doctors, however, quickly refuted the claim. "Ma'am, she is perhaps not aware. Delays do happen, but we make sure to provide all medicines," said Ray. The CM asked him to make sure that medicines arrived on time.
Climbing down the stairs, Mamata now halted at the portico. "I have seen the facilities here. There is enough scope to revamp this hospital and turn it into a good one. You need night shelters for patients' families. Do send me the proposal fast," she told Ray before turning towards her car.
Ray later told TOI that he would suggest a complete overhaul of the orthopaedic department. "Ever since mediclaim polices were given, our load has reduced. The hospital is meant exclusively for the treatment of police personnel. Other than a few months during the monsoon, our beds are seldom full. But since policemen suffer injuries frequently and need good orthopaedic care, the facilities ought to be augmented. It is unfortunate that we have to suspend our diagnostic facilities after two in the afternoon. We don't have enough personnel to operate the instruments. Obviously, patients prefer private hospitals," said Ray.
A section of the staff, on the other hand, claimed that the authorities have deliberately been going slow on enhancing facilities. "They argue that since police personnel now hold medical insurance, it would be useless to have better facilities here. Nobody wants things to change here. The fact is that they don't want to work," alleged a staff.
Members of the hospital union - United State Government Employees' Federation - alleged they were not allowed to talk to the CM. "She visited the hospital on an invitation we had sent across to her on Wednesday. If necessary, we will get in touch with her again," said Tarun Biswas, joint secretary of the union.

UP Police: Police & Yoga : City police take yoga route to beat stress
KANPUR: With an aim to increase their efficiency for better policing, men-in-khaki here have taken the 'yoga' route to overcome stress, fatigue and obesity.
A special camp to impart yoga training to police personnel was held at the Reserve Police Lines ground in the city on Thursday. A total of 700 police personnel, including senior police officials, underwent training in the basic principles of yoga. The city police would now regularly organise such training programmes for their benefit in a phased manner, he added. "The idea is mental and physical development of the officers as well as to change their mindset to deal with the common people. It is going to change the work culture of the police towards commoners as well as to improve police, public relations," said yoga trainer Ravindra Porwal. He added long working hours affected policemen and for that yoga was the best cure.
A special camp to impart yoga training to police personnel was held at the Reserve Police Lines ground in the city on Thursday. A total of 700 police personnel, including senior police officials, underwent training in the basic principles of yoga.
