MUMBAI: Shahid Shaikh cracked a 96-ball 105 while Shrikant Limbole scored an unbeaten 89 to propel Police Gymkhana to a seven-wicket win over fancied Payyade Club on the second and final day of their 2nd round clash of Purshottam Shield on Sunday.

Shaikh slammed five fours and seven sixes as the hosts raced to 302 for 3 in reply to Payyade's total of 297 all out. Earlier, S Salvi (60) top-scored for Payyade while T Mishra made 53 and D Salunkhe 51. Santosh Shinde and Rajesh Tandel picked two wickets each for the Police Gymkhana.
